Since joining ComSuper's (now Commonwealth Superannuation Corporation) Customer Information Centre in early 2015, Ed has placed a high importance on providing complete and genuine customer service to all of our members.
Ed not only provided information on MilitarySuper and DFRDB to past and serving ADF personnel, but also to members of the PSS and CSS schemes. He has recently taken the step of joining the Member Education team and offers personal consultations to Australian Defence Force members and presents superannuation seminars to Commonwealth public servants around the country.
For many years Paul worked for the Australian Defence Force (ADF) in a variety of roles. Prior to discharging from the ADF, Paul started a secondment to the ADF Financial Services Consumer Centre where he developed his passion for financial literacy.
Paul joined the Commonwealth Superannuation Corporation in early 2014 as a Member Education Consultant and thoroughly enjoys working with members to help them better understand their superannuation. Paul is RG 146 compliant.
Paul has a comprehensive knowledge of the three Australia Public Service schemes (PSS, CSS and PSSap) as well as the ADF schemes (MilitarySuper, DFRDB and ADF Super).
Scarlett brings a wealth of knowledge from her many years’ experience working in the Superannuation industry.
Her technical knowledge of the Australian Public Service schemes (PSS, CSS and PSSap) comes from more than a decade working in a variety of roles with both the Trustee (Commonwealth Superannuation Corporation) and the Administrator (ComSuper).
She has a great ability to build a rapport with people and explain complex matters in a way that is easy to understand.
Scarlett also presents our expanding range of live webinars for those unable to attend the seminars in person. She always encourages questions during her presentations.
Member Education Consultant
Jeff is the presenter for CSC’s '3rd Act – Freedom in Retirement’ seminars, providing members with a holistic approach to planning for retirement. Jeff’s own personal experience with moving into retirement has given him a good understanding of the possibilities as well as the potential challenges.
Jeff previously ran information seminars on the PSS, CSS and PSSap superannuation funds for members throughout Victoria, South Australia, Western Australia and the Northern Territory.
Jeff has more than 35 years' experience in the financial services industry, specialising for most of that time in superannuation. He has worked with organisations such as MLC, Colonial Mutual, Challenger and National Mutual/AXA. In these roles, Jeff was responsible for presenting seminars on various subjects such as superannuation, transition to retirement, annuities and property investment.
Jeff is recognised as an accomplished seminar presenter and holds a Bachelor of Business (Accounting) and a Diploma of Financial Planning.
Education Administrative Assistant
Rhonda supports the Member Education team to deliver seminars to members around the country. She has worked for more than 20 years as a personal assistant for various legal firms in Canberra.
Rhonda held the position of Personal Assistant to the Manager, Corporate Services with the Australian Medical Association and then as Office Manager with a company which was contracted by Civil Aviation Safety Authority to manage pilot examinations.
Rhonda's most recent role was with a research centre where she was Personal Assistant to the CEO for six years.
